What is Marketplace Microlearning?
Microlearning experiences are business microsimulations designed to develop critical business skills through practical, interactive, and brief learning experiences.
These activities complement Marketplace® Live simulations and allow participants to strengthen specific competencies in approximately 10 to 25 minutes, supporting continuous learning without interrupting the flow of the main simulation.

What is the purpose of Microlearning?
Over the years, some of the most important business competencies have proven to be particularly challenging. Microlearning allows participants to explore these concepts in a practical, visual, and interactive way before applying them in broader business experiences.

Customer Value Creation
Efficient Resource Management
Evidence-Based Decision-Making
Operations Management
Strategic Thinking
To address these needs, Innovative Learning Solutions developed a series of business microsimulations designed to reinforce these competencies before participants apply them within the full simulation.
The first Microlearning experiences focus on:
-
Product design and development
-
Profitability and efficient resource allocation
-
Production capacity planning
-
Business process operations

How does Microlearning work?
Each Microlearning experience has been developed using a highly visual and interactive format that makes complex business concepts easier to understand.
Each experience includes:
-
An introductory video that explains the main concept.
-
An interactive challenge where participants immediately apply what they have learned.
-
Immediate feedback to reinforce learning.
The exercises are designed to be brief, dynamic, and highly practical, allowing complex concepts to be understood through experimentation and decision-making.
Participants can repeat each activity as many times as needed until they master the concept. The goal is not traditional assessment, but rather to promote learning through continuous practice and progressive improvement.
Microlearning experiences can be completed individually or used to complement collaborative work within simulation teams.
Testing conducted to date has shown positive results in strengthening analytical thinking, understanding business concepts, and improving the quality of decision-making.
